When the steel industry left Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, many only felt despair. This was one of the largest cases of deindustrialization in United States history. Poverty, addiction, and violence filled the vacuum of hopelessness in our community. But Jesus never left. Today, He is working to restore our city - one block at a time. Come be involved this summer in the story of hope God is building in Aliquippa!

The mission of the program is to provide young adults with the opportunity to holistically learn from and engage Aliquippa through the paradigms of positive youth development, community development, and biblical theology. The summer assists in equipping young adults to be the radical, justice-loving, mercy-showing, and service-doing disciples they were called to be.

The summer begins with two weeks of training to prepare staff members for service in the community. After these initial two weeks, staff members begin an 8-week rhythm of service, spiritual formation, and learning.
